India won the Champions Trophy 2025 with an collective team effort. On their Champions Trophy truimph there were mixed views around the world. India and New Zealand played the final started with New Zealand winning the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand had a good opening partnership of 70 which was broken by Chakravarthy, New Zealand were trapped by Indian spin but Darryl Mitchell and Bracewell half century commanded to a respectable total of 251 runs. 

It could be a tricky chase because in the previous league match same thing happened where India batted first and were restricted to 249 but indian spinners pulled out the game from New Zealand kudos to Varun Chakravarthy whose fifer saved India that day. So it was estimated that it would also be a tuff chase to posses because New Zealand too had the same fire power.
