Rajeev Shukla on MS Dhoni Political Future: A Shocking Revelation
BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla recently said something very interesting about the former Indian cricket captain, MS Dhoni. Speaking with Ranveer Allahbadia on the YouTube channel BeerBiceps, Shukla was asked who could become the best politician. "MS Dhoni," he replied without a second thought.
Shukla lauded Dhoni for his leadership qualities, temperament, and his ability to tackle pressure. According to him, all these make him a sure contender for the political arena as well. He believed that with widespread popularity and sound decision-making capabilities, Dhoni would surely flourish in politics as he had in cricket.

Shukla added that it is his considered view that till Sourav Ganguly entered politics from Bengal for he was instrumental for the rise of Bengal politicians. He considers that Dhoni has the chance of being another great leader from the cricket fields, too.
Shukla remembers a discussion when he straight away asked Dhoni if he was going to contest for a Lok Sabha seat. Dhoni dismissed the rumor, stating that he was never interested in politics. He always stayed away from public debates and controversies and devoted himself to personal and professional commitments.

Why Dhoni Won't Enter Politics
One of the major reasons Shukla cited regarding Dhoni not being interested in entering politics is his privacy factor. He added that Dhoni doesn't even carry a mobile phone regularly, which makes it very hard to get in touch with him. This makes it a fact that Dhoni really loves his peace and does not look for a political role which exerts the constant need to come out into the public arena.
