Mahendra Singh Dhoni has arrived to Chennai which is considered as his last season. IPL took birth in 2008 and Ms Dhoni was acquired by Chennai Super Kings and was choosen as captain of the team. From then till now the legacy of him speaks its volume. Dhoni emerged as captain of India in 2007 inaugral T20 World Cup and went on to win the title too. 

 Since IPL inception CSK has been a consistent team under the leadership of Ms Dhoni. His absolute calmness in the field though how tough the situation be, he has always been spot on based on his skills. In his first IPL itself he led his team to final though Rajasthan had the better hand and they super kings emerged as runner up.

Dhoni ultimate claim of IPL trophy started from 2010 where Chennai Super Kings beats Mumbai Indians and claimed its first trophy. Retaining it back in 2011 by beating Royal Challengers Banglore. But after that they didn't able to win the trophy yet the consistency in reaching in final and play offs been the same.

TThe come back after two years were so special for Dhoni and co where he was seen emotional too on addressing the meeting. On that very year Chennai claimed their third title after 6 years of wait beating Sunrises Hyderabad. On building the next phase of Csk, Dhoni stepped down as Captain and Jaddu was tried as captain too but it didn't work on that well. Jadeja is an exceptional all rounder but captaincy was quite hard chapter for him.

Then once again Dhoni was appointed as captain of Chennai and they won the trophy in 2021 for the fourth time. Still the process was on, after a year gap Csk became the second team to win the 5 titles after Mumbai Indians and that 2023 final was absolute drama where jadeja fighted as the lone warrior of the team and snatched the victory from Gujrat Titans. After that Dhoni stepped down from captaincy and young Ruturaj was appointed as captain. Dhoni retirement rumours have always created a buzz over these years. 

Now he has arrived Chennai for the IPL and he had wore a black dress with a lipi writing on it. Which was later decoded that one last dance. Now it's been sensed that it might be Dhoni last season but things are yet to be finalised. Anytime may it be but the aura and legacy created by Ms Dhoni is really un matchable.
