During that presence, Dhoni graced the plantation program and also inaugurated recently installed electric lamp posts in the CISF Unit Line area.

The ICC World T20 2007, ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy 2013 winning captain MS Dhoni was honoured with the rank of Lieutenant colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Indian Territorial Army (106 Para TA battalion) in 2011. He was honoured with this prestigious rank for his achievement in the national team.

In the year 2015, Dhoni became a qualified paratrooper by completing five parachute training jumps from Indian Army aircraft in the Agra training camp.
