The Chief of Pakistan's cricket team said that they are checking very carefully that everything is ready for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It's going to start on February 19. They are repairing and arranging things in three cities Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. There were some worries before because things were very slow to repair, but the head, Mohsin Naqvi, said they will be done in time.
At a major new stadium in Lahore named Gaddafi Stadium, Naqvi spoke to reporters and said that the important trade is not moving somewhere else. He said some people from a different location and some other people didn't think we could have the very special Champions Trophy event here. But Naqvi said he was extremely certain that we are ready for both the smaller series with three teams and the major Champions Trophy also.
Renovation work continues at the National Stadium in Karachi and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with images of ongoing construction sparking concerns. However, Naqvi reassured that these stadiums will be fully functional before the champions trophy begins. Gaddafi Stadium's inauguration is scheduled for February 7, while the National Stadium in Karachi will be inaugurated on February 11. Meanwhile, an opening ceremony for the tournament is planned for February 16 in Lahore.

The major Champions Trophy is going to include the eight best teams from around the world. The PCB invited all the important people from the major cricket places, even from India, to come to different enjoyable events during the match period. Naqvi said, We're going to get a large amount of major leaders from the cricket places and maybe even the sports leaders from different places visiting. But they cannot have a big meeting with all the team Captains or make happy photos together because traveling is hard and everybody is extremely busy.
With less than a month to go, PakRamiz Raja believes we can still receive the money again even though we spent more than we planned, which was 12 billion rupees. The cricket team decided not to take free tickets from the major cricket group they wish for money in place of tickets. The interesting part is the cricket team is making their stadiums better on their own, without any help from the government or free money from the pcb.
