Lahore Qalandars (LAH) got their first victory in the tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 10). Quetta Gladiators (QG) tried, but the target was too much for them to achieve. Fakhar Zaman was the highest scorer with 67 runs. In the lower middle over, Sam Billings played a stormy 50* to help LAH achieve 219 on the scoreboard.

Muhammad Naeem's (10) early wicket troubled Lahore Qalandars at the beginning of the innings. But it was minimal for the team. Zaman, accompanied by Abdullah Shafique (37) and Daryl Mitchell (37) at number 4, drove the innings swiftly in the middle overs. For the Shaheen Afridi-led team, it was Billings, who put a cherry on top of the cake. 219 for Qalandars in 20 overs.
Kusal Mendis (28) and Rilee Rossouw (44) are the only two batters who fought hard against QG bowlers. LAH skipper Shaheen Afridi claimed 2 scalps only for an average of 3 runs in the 2 overs he bowled. Faheem Ashraf with his late 18 balls, 21 runs innings, delayed LAH's victory celebration.
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lahore Qalandars captain): "Our players executed he game plan perfectly, especially in defending a total. Bowlers struggled with their lengths earlier but have now responded with intensity and precision. Rishad Hossain is a key addition for striking in the middle overs and Sam Billings is classy,, 360-degree player."
Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators captain): "The team combination wasn’t ideal, we fell short by one fast bowler in the contest. Lahore Qalandars’ batters played well, Fakhar Zaman, Daryl Mitchell, and Sam Billings batted brilliantly, especially Billings. Our strategy was to play Shaheen Afridi cautiously, but we failed to execute it."
