Quetta Gladiators (QG) defeated Multan Sultans (MS) Pakistan in match number 18 of PSL 10 within a flicker of an eye. QG needed only 6.5 overs to conclude the game in the second innings. It was a bad evening for Sultans in terms of both batting and bowling. They were able to score only 89 in the first innings after they lost their last man on the 17th over.
Observing the nature of Gaddari Stadium's wicket, Quetta Gladiators skipper Saud Shakeel decided to bowl first after winning the toss. 9 out of 11 batters of Multan Sultans threw their wickets with a single-digit run. Only two batters out there on the pitch scored in double digits —MS skipper Mohammad Rizwan himself and Usama Mir. Mir's 11 was the second-best individual score of the game for Sultans. Rizwan, with his undefeated 44-run knock alone, couldn't make enough impact to save his team from a shameful defeat. QG bowler Khurram Shahzad took a total of 4 wickets.
Quetta Gladiators achieved the 90-run target in 6.5 overs without losing a single wicket. Both openers, Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen, remained undefeated for 42 and 45 runs, respectively.

Muhammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans captain): "I still believe in this, that we should play good cricket. If now our chances depend on whether the other teams win or lose, then I don't like that, because you should focus on your own performance rather than looking at the other team."
