In the 49th Match 49 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Punjab Kings (PBKS) emerge victorious over defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 7 wickets at Chepauk on May 1st.

PBKS Get 4th Win In Chepauk

In response, PBKS started strongly with Jonny Bairstow’s impressive 46 runs and contributions from other batters. Rilee Roussouw and Shashank Singh’s partnership ensured PBKS secured their 4th win of the season. With Roussouw gone for a fiery 43 runs, skipper Sam Curran took control of the proceeding along with Shashank.  Sam Curran’s 26*-run cameo steered PBKS to victory, easily chasing down the target.
