Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja went into Rapid-fire mode against England in the second ODI of 2025 at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, on Sunday, bowling an over in less than 75 seconds. It happened in the 24th over of England’s first innings when Harry Brook was on strike. Jadeja kept it full and straight around the middle and leg stump, forcing Brook to defend five deliveries on the front foot before flicking the last one to mid-wicket.

From the live broadcast, Jadeja took about 73 seconds to bowl his over, and even the commentators mentioned it. It was also the first maiden over of the innings. Fans on social media quickly saw it and appreciated Jadeja for his impressive skills. This isn’t the first time Jadeja has grabbed attention for his bowling . Jadeja’s smooth action, and ability to bowl dot balls consistently make him naturally fast. This also helps India by putting pressure on the batters.

Jadeja is also a part of India’s squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, from February 19 to March 9. In the second ODI, he played a crucial role in breaking England’s opening partnership by taking Philip Salt wicket, giving India the much-needed wicket at a critical moment. With his consistency of all round performance, Jadeja continues to be a big performer for the Indian cricket team, proving his skills in limited-overs cricket once again.
