Bad news for the Team RCB, Washington Sundar who was playing with the Indian team in England and injured his finger is ruled out from the remainder of IPL 2021, because of failing in the NCA fitness test due to an incomplete healed injury, which is going to be a big problem for the team.

while playing country games in England with the rest of the Indian team talented off-spinner Washington got hit by the ball bowled by Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj while playing the practice match which is played for visitors, As he wanted to become an allrounder for the team and injured his finger of the right hand, due to this injury he was forced to return to homeland from ongoing tour to heal his injury for upcoming matches including IPL and WC T20I.

RCB has to tackle the problem somehow…!

“Royal Challengers Bangalore’s all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2021 due to a finger injury. Akash Deep, a state cricketer from Bengal and net bowler with the franchise has been named as a replacement,” Royal Challengers Bangalore said in a release.

Meanwhile, Bengal cricketer 24-year-old boy Akash Deep who is a net bowler with the franchise has been named as a replacement for the remainder of the IPL, he made his T20 debut in March 2019 and has bagged 21 scalps at 16.35 in the shortest format of the game. His best haul of 4 for 35 came against Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy this year.

Sundar has played 42 matches in the IPL, picking up 27 wickets at an impressive economy rate of a little over 6. Sundar began his IPL career with Rising Pune Supergiant before he went to Royal Challenger Bangalore in IPL 2018. RCB bought the all-rounder back in the IPL auction for a price of Rs 3.2 crore.

Royal Challenger Bangalore going to start its campaign against the Kolkata Knight Riders on September 20.
