"One Match Doesn't Change His Legacy": Rayudu on Kohli's Form
Ambati Rayudu, in a recent interview, discussed the recent form of Virat Kohli and the legacy he has left for cricket. According to him, one match cannot be the deciding factor for a whole career, especially if it is the case of Virat Kohli.
Kohli, who is one of the most successful and consistent cricketers of his generation, has seen a slump in form in the recent past. However, Rayudu went on to add that this doesn't change the fact that Kohli's legacy is already established in the history of cricket. Rayudu's quote, "One match doesn't change his legacy," signifies that Kohli's previous performances, such as his numerous centuries and match-winning performances, will always be remembered by the people regardless of his recent form.
Rayudu validated his quote and went on to add that even good players have to go through ups and downs in a long career and said, "Form is temporary, but class is permanent." When it comes to his class or capabilities, Kohli had never let the people down. On international cricket boards, Kohli is one of the most dominant figures.
