Rohit Sharma brutally trolled by fans after getting out on a Duck for the 16th Time

Netizens brutally trolled Mumbai Indian skipper Rohit Sharma as he got out for a 3 ball duck against one of their biggest rival Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk Stadium. This was his second consecutive duck in this season of the Indian Premier League.

In the 49th match of the IPL 2023 is going on, the two most successful teams in IPL history are facing each other in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The Home team won the toss and their Skipper MS Dhoni chose to bowl first. To a surprise, there was a change in the batting order as Rohit Sharma did not come out to open the innings for his team. Instead, Cameron Green was the opener today along with Ishan Kishan. This was not at all expected as rarely any team changes their batting order when they are on winning ways.

However, Cameron Green opened the innings along with Ishan Kishan where Green took the strike. This change in the batting order by Mumbai Indians did not go well as Tushar Deshpande got the better of Cameron Green in the second-last delivery of the 2nd over.

After Cameron Green was dismissed by Deshpande, Captain Rohit Sharma came to the crease to bat in the 3rd position. Rohit Sharma played 2 deliveries in total before getting out while facing his 3rd delivery on the penultimate ball of 3rd over. It was Deepak Chahar who was bowling the second over of his spell who got rid of Sharma.

After Rohit Sharma got out on a 3-ball duck, the internet flooded with posts, tweets, etc. trolling him as this was the time 2nd consecutive time in IPL 2023 when he got out for a duck. In addition, Rohit Sharma has also created a negative record of “Most Number of Ducks” in IPL history. This was the 16th time when the 36-year-old batter got for a duck in IPL.
