Indian captain Rohit Sharma became one of the major reasons for the huge crowd gathering during the inauguration of a new Cricket Academy in Rashin.
CricKingdom introduced the Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Cricket Academy and Sports Complex in Rashin, Karjat Taluka. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, the brand ambassador of CricKingdom, was present at the inauguration of this new cricket academy in Maharashtra.
The event was organised by Rohit Pawar, the Maharashtra Cricket Association President, and MLA.
During the Bhoomi Pujan or groundbreaking ceremony, Rohit was invited to dig the soil before revealing the foundation stone.

A huge crowd gathered to welcome the Indian national cricket team’s captain. Rohit also appreciated the crowd where he claimed that the crowd was louder than a stadium.

Rohit Sharma has a big hope
Talking about the new cricket academy, Rohit is confident about seeing the next-generation stars from here, who can play the roles of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, or Jasprit Bumrah. Rohit also added that he would definitely come in the future.
In that ceremony, Rohit was seen to take blessings from the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Also, the Indian captain was busy signing autographs on cricket kits like bats, jerseys, etc. Rohit also presented photo frames as well as a miniature of the replica of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's orange flag.
Rohit Sharma recently led India to win the T20 World Cup
Last June, Rohit Sharma led the Indian team to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 trophy. It was India’s second T20 World Cup trophy after winning the inaugural edition in 2007. It was also India’s first ICC trophy victory in 11 years.
Last Tuesday (September 30), Rohit led the Indian team to win the two-match home Test series against Bangladesh. After winning the first Test by 280 runs at Chennai, team India remarkably won the Kanpur Test by seven wickets despite the loss of a full two days due to rain and wet outfield.
