Champions Trophy is at its final stage where four teams ( India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand) will be playing for the ultimate Champions trophy. Today India is going to face Australia in semi final 1which will be broadcasted by 2.30 pm.  India's Champions Trophy journey was quite mixed one where they were challenged in all departments but every time they challenged India had answers with different prospects. 

India beat Bangladesh by six wickets in their opener, In their second game they faced arch rivals Pakistan beating them by six wickets. In their third match against New Zealand they were invited to bat first where they scored a medium total, but thanks to the spell of Varun Chakravarthy who took 5 wickets haul and gave the commanding victory of 44 runs to India. India have won their all games in their groups toping the table.

Will Rohit Sharma Follow The Same Template

Today is the most important match for India where they are going to face Australia in their line up. India would have never forgot the wounds which were given by Australia in Ahmedabad on the eve of the final in 2023 World Cup final. Where India were opted to bat first and their batting order were dismandled by Australia limiting India to score below 240, Though India took earlier wickets but Travis Head stood like a rock and finished the game for Australia. 

In recent Bgt series too were acquired by them after 10 years. Though at press conference Rohit  lauded the boys effort and when asked about will he follow the same template of 4 spinners which they did against New Zealand. He said every game is  different and we have to approach it differently. Well he exbhited the answer in a tricky way. Well in last game Varun Chakravarthy came in replacement of pacer Harshit Rana against New Zealand.

Rohit Sharma Hails The Efforts Of Varun Chakravarthy

 When asked about Varun Chakravarthy performance against New Zealand, the captain went to praise him that he has comeback tremondsly. Thats why he has been picked in the squard at one stage I came to know that pacers won't get enough help and being a used pitch it will help spinners a lot. I am happy that he has bowled well and acheived the significant mark of 5 wicket haul. Even it was the same ground where in 2021 T20 world Cup Varun was treated like hell considering his worst performance. 

He too admitted the same when he was awarded the player of the match against New Zealand he said i will never forget that day and today after 5 years at the same ground performing well gives me an ultimate satisfaction.
