Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma is missing the match against the hosts Lucknow Super Giants in the 16th match of the IPL 2025 on Friday evening (April 4). Despite the skipper Hardik Pandya's clarification about Rohit's injury, some MI fans still doubt the actual reason for Rohit's missing the match. Now, we have a video that brings Rohit's injury status proof.
In the video, we can see Mumbai Indians' assistant Physiotherapist Amit Dubey with Rohit Sharma. This is a reported video of Thursday night (April 3), the previous night of the match. Former MI skipper Rohit was stepping up the stairs carefully while the assistant Physiotherapist was beside him. Rohit didn't require any extra support.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya chose to field first after winning the toss against the home side Lucknow Super Giants. LSG opener Mitchell Marsh produced a strong start for his team, as the hosts scored 69/0 at the end of the powerplay. Marsh completed his third half-century in four games of the season in 27 balls and scored 60 off 31 balls with the help of nine fours and two sixes. Before Vignesh Puthur dismissed Marsh, the Aussie star had a 76-run opening partnership with Aiden Markram.
Marsh's fiery start had a good impact in the innings as it helped the team massively despite losing quick wickets soon after the dismissal of Marsh. Another opener Aiden Markram also scored a half-century, which he completed in 34 balls, and LSG scored 159/4 in 16 overs.
