In the 11th match of the IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings (RR vs CSK) has been scheduled at Barsapara Cricket Stadium (Guwahati) on Sunday evening (March 30). It will be the third game of the season for both teams.
Rajasthan Royals suffered defeats in their first two matches of the IPL 2025. After losing by 44 runs against the hosts SunRisers Hyderabad in their season opener after conceding 286/6, the second-highest IPL total, the Royals lost by eight wickets against the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in Guwahati.
Meanwhile, CSK started the IPL 2025 with a four-wicket win against Mumbai Indians before losing by 50 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While CSK played both those matches at home, the Sunday match will be their first away fixture in the IPL 2025.

For RR, Riyan Parag will continue to lead, while Sanju Samson will play only as the batter. After the poor form of English pacer Jofra Archer, the Royals’ overseas choices will be key. The in-form Afghan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi can be a strong replacement for Archer.
The CSK squad can see some important changes, especially in the Indian names. While the middle-order batting is struggling, Vijay Shankar can bring some relief. As the English all-rounder Sam Curran is struggling, the five-time IPL champions can strengthen their batting unit by selecting New Zealander Devon Conway.
Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing 11: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson/Fazalhaq Farooqi (Impact Sub), Riyan Parag (Captain), Nitish Rana, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Shubham Dubey, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande
Chennai Super Kings Predicted Playing 11: Rachin Ravindra, Ruturaj Gaikwad (Captain), Rahul Tripathi/Khaleel Ahmed (Impact Player Sub), Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube, Sam Curran/Devon Conway, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Matheesha Pathirana, Noor Ahmad
