The sixth game of the IPL 2025 has been scheduled for the Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders (RR vs KKR) match, while Barsapara Cricket Stadium (Guwahati) will host this fixture on Wednesday evening (March 26). It will be the second game for both teams in the tournament, while they suffered big defeats in their season opener.
Despite getting a good start with a 103-run second wicket partnership between Sunil Narine and captain Ajinkya Rahane, the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 174/8 (20 overs) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru due to losing wickets cheaply in the second half of the innings. KKR bowlers were smashed in the powerplay, and they never made a comeback in the second innings.

In the second game of the IPL 2025, SunRisers Hyderabad smacked the second-highest IPL total (286/6) against Rajasthan Royals. RR pacer Jofra Archer conceded the highest runs in four overs in IPL history. While RR lost their first three wickets in the powerplay, they fought hard in the chase, but they were never in the target despite recording their highest ever total (242/6).
While we aren’t expecting any big surprise change in the KKR playing XI, RR may need to think about the English fast bowler Jofra Archer. Although it is very early, and we all know what he can do, he is not in form at present and is struggling to prove himself.
Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing 11: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson/Fazalhaq Farooqi (Impact Sub), Riyan Parag (Captain), Nitish Rana, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Shubham Dubey, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande
Kolkata Knight Riders Predicted Playing 11: Sunil Narine, Quinton de Kock (wk), Ajinkya Rahane (Captain), Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, Andre Russell, Harshit Rana, Spencer Johnson, Vaibhav Arora/Angkrish Raghuvanshi (Impact Sub), Varun Chakravarthy
