IPL 2025: Controversial Andre Russell Bat Check Goes Viral Ahead of KKR Crash

During IPL 2025's face-off between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on 15th April, there was a controversial incident involving all-round performer Andre Russell that went viral. During one of the breaks, the officials had a check on Russell’s bat which went unaccounted for and became the focal point even before he faced a single run. 

The KKR star had taken the spotlight even before ball one had been bowled. Capturing Russell's bat check, the commentators and fans alike went into a frenzy claiming Russell powered-up secret technologies behind his skills. The banter on social media did not stop at the match either.
