Sachin Tendulkar, known as the ‘God of Cricket,’ turned 51 on April 24, Wednesday. Instead of a lavish celebration, Sachin chose to spend his special day with underprivileged girls in Mumbai, spreading joy and warmth.
Sachin shared a video and wrote, “What a way to kick off my birthday week! I had so much fun playing football, sharing stories and cutting my birthday cake with these incredible girls who are supported by the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. They were the first ones to wish me and it made my week truly special!”
In a heartwarming gesture, Sachin played football with the young girls, with his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, leading the team as the captain. Sachin shared a special video on his social media handle, showing the fun-filled moments of the football match. He expressed his joy in playing with the girls and revealed that they were the first to wish him on his birthday.
The girls, associated with the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, made the day memorable for Sachin. They served him food on banana leaves and fed him watermelon and fruits. Sachin also cut a birthday cake, surrounded by warm wishes and cheers.
During the football game, the girls showed remarkable confidence and gave tough competition to Sachin, much to his delight. Despite his legendary status, Sachin enjoyed the game with humility, cherishing the moment with the young ones.
