There is no doubt that Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers of all time. While the former captain of the Indian cricket team is now retired, his fans keep track of what is happening with him. In addition to Sachin’s remarkable achievements on the field and his unrivaled records, he is also a true foodie at heart. Among his favorite activities is cooking and he loves to indulge in a variety of delicacies. Recently, the former cricketer talked about how much he loved missal pav, a popular Maharashtrian dish. Tendulkar wrote on Twitter, “Be it a Sunday or a Monday, I’ll take Misal Pav any day! What’s your idea of a perfect breakfast?”
As seen in the video, he adds a bit of lemon to Misal. There is something special about Maharashtra’s missal pav, he says, adding, “It reminds me of Burmese Khao Suey, but Maharashtra’s missal pav is best.”
We all might think that Sachin’s favorite Maharashtrian food is only this! He had previously expressed how he enjoyed eating vada pav. Tendulkar earlier stated, “I like to have my Vada Pav with red chutney, a tiny amount of green chutney, and some Imli chutney to complete the taste.” Interestingly, Tendulkar once recalled eating Vada Pav outside Wankhede stadium every single day after practice. In addition to posting about his love for various delicacies, Sachin also posts about his love for seafood and his enjoyment of making delicious meals!
