Sachin Tendulkar is likely to get the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at BCCI Awards Night.
Mumbai, Indians icon Sachin Tendulkar is likely to be bestowed the prestigious CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) during its annual awards in Mumbai on Saturday. This is considered to be the most prestigeous award granted by the BCCI to a person who has significantly contributed to Indian cricket.
A Prestigious Honor
It's named after the Colonel C.K. Nayudu, the first-ever Test captain for India. The award includes a trophy, a citation, and also a cash prize of ₹25 lakh. For years now, this prestigious accolade has been given to legendary cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, and many such iconic figures who left a stalwart mark on Indian cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, having played for a record 24 years. The records he set include being the only player who has scored 100 international centuries and the first to hit 200 runs in a One Day International (ODI). Contributions to Indian cricket and inspiration for generations of young cricketers around the world have been some of his impacts.
Tendulkar made his debut in international cricket at age 16 in 1989 and broke so many records in all formats of the game. He was instrumental in India's win in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and retired in 2013 as the highest run-scorer in both Test and ODI cricket. He remains influential in cricket today by engaging in initiatives related to cricket and mentoring young players.
