Extent of the Injury
Samson confirms 5-6 weeks to be off action after medical tests establish the serious nature of the injury This will push the left-hander out of Kerala's upcoming Ranji Trophy quarter-final against Jammu & Kashmir in February 8-12, Pune.



Impact on His Career
Sanju Samson got a serious blow to his career as well. The form of the wicketkeeper-batsman has been decent, but his absence will the Kerala's chances in Ranji Trophy somewhat reduced. Yet his motivation will now be rehabilitation for the best part of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL).
