Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan had an injury scare during the practice session of the Indian team on Thursday (November 14) at Perth.

Sarfaraz Khan is one of the new-generation Indian cricketers who have travelled to Australia for the five-match Test series (Border-Gavaskar Trophy). This Test series is very important for both teams, as their qualification for the next ICC World Test Championship final is at stake.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin on November 22 with the Test match at Perth. The 27-year-old Sarfaraz played all three Tests during the recently concluded three-match home Test series against New Zealand. He is fighting to grab a spot in the Indian playing XI for the series opener.

Sarfaraz Khan walked off after an elbow injury

During the training session on Thursday, Sarfaraz was injured. While he was batting in the nets, a ball was hit to his right elbow. Soon, he walked off the ground. There is no clarification on the matter of the latest injury of Sarfaraz.
