Following the conclusion of the group stage in the U19 Men’s World Cup 2024, the fixtures for the Super Six phase have been revealed. Among the 12 teams competing for the title in this stage are India, Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Nepal, South Africa, England, West Indies, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, USA, Afghanistan, Namibia, and Scotland have been eliminated from the tournament and will vie for the last four positions in the playoffs.
In the Super Six phase, the top three teams from Groups A and D will form one group, while teams from Groups B and C will constitute the other group, shaping the next thrilling round of the tournament.
Teams advancing from Groups A and D include India, Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal. From Groups B and C, South Africa, England, West Indies, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe have secured qualification. In the Super Six stage of the U19 Men’s World Cup 2024, each team will face opponents from their respective groups who finished differently in the group stage.
For instance, Group A topper India will compete against the second and third-placed teams from Group D, namely New Zealand and Zimbabwe. The top two teams from each Super Six group will progress to the semi-final stage scheduled for February 6 and 8, with the final set to take place on February 11.

India, the defending champions, are favored to lift the trophy again. Led by Uday Saharan, the team demonstrated an impressive style of cricket in the group stages, securing three dominant victories. Other strong contenders for the title include Australia, Pakistan, England, West Indies, and South Africa.
The U19 Men’s World Cup 2024 has been a platform for many cricket stars, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Babar Azam, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, and Shubman Gill.
India holds the record as the most successful team in the U19 World Cup, winning a total of five titles in the years 2000, 2008, 2012, 2018, and 2022. Australia follows with three titles, while Pakistan has won the championship twice. England, South Africa, West Indies, and Bangladesh each have one title to their name.
