It was a challenging game, but India beat Australia by four wickets in the first Semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and reached the Final of the tournament. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli was the hero of the match, who was enjoying passionately after India successfully chased the target.
Australian captain Steve Smith chose to bat first at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. Australia scored 264 all out in 49.3 overs, and it was a challenging total for any team to chase on the tricky Dubai pitch, but the chase master king Kohli produced one of his memorable knocks and he also got some crucial supports from the middle-order batters to guide the team to the win. India successfully chased the target in 48.1 overs after losing six wickets.

He was focusing more on singles and doubles to rotate the strike to deny any dangerous adventure in the chasing.
While Kohli was out 40 runs away from the target, KL Rahul's calmness and Hardik Pandya's three brutal sixes helped India to chase the target. Captain Rohit Sharma scored 28 runs, while his opening partner Shubman Gill scored eight runs. Among the middle-order batters, Shreyas Iyer (45), Axar Patel (27), Rahul (42*), and Pandya (28) made useful contributions along with stable partnerships.

So, there was no doubt that the Indian team would celebrate this win, especially when Australia denied India's successful journey in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 by winning the Final against the hosts in Ahmedabad.
While all the Indian cricketers were in joy, the hero of the match, Virat Kohli had a joyful celebration. During that celebration, the former Indian captain hugged the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and later Hardik Pandya.
