Vijay Shankar single-handedly turned the tide of Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2025 game versus Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Barsapara Cricket Stadium into a complete thriller. After waiting for over a decade and getting questioned by many, Shankar stunned his critics with a magnificent full mid-air dive catch at deep mid-wicket while Wanindu Hasaranga was batting and was sent to shower by Ravindra Jadeja. 

The pivotal moment happened when Shankar’s reflexes and agility was at display when he leapt forward and grasped the ball a couple of inches off the ground. Shankar's impressive catch left the crowd in disbelief and he was instantly surrounded by jubilant CSK players celebrating his amazing feat.
