SunRisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans (SRH vs GT) has been scheduled for the 19th match of the IPL 2025, which Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad) will host on Sunday night (April 6).
SunRisers Hyderabad will play their fifth match of the season, and Gujarat Titans are ready for their fourth game of the tournament.
Although the IPL 2024 runners-up SRH thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs after scoring the second-highest IPL total (286/6) in their season opener, they then suffered three big losses against Lucknow Super Giants (by five wickets), Delhi Capitals (by seven wickets), and the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (by 80 runs).
Meanwhile, after starting the new season with an 11-run defeat in the high-scoring battle against Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians and in-form Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 36 runs and eight wickets, respectively.

SRH's batting is deeply struggling, and over-aggression is the main reason for their batting failure. After scoring the first century in the IPL 2025 (106*), Ishan Kishan’s next scores were horrible with 0, 2, and 2 runs. Except for Travis Head, there is no confident starter in the SRH batting line-up. The poor batting starts are also affecting the middle-order batting, while the SRH bowlers are also struggling very much. Maybe Adam Zampa’s return is important for the SRH bowling line-up, while opener Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan are in danger of getting dropped.
Gujarat Titans have earned a strong early start, while Glenn Phillips and Gerald Coetzee haven’t played a match yet. As they have a strong playing XI, despite suddenly missing the South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, it will be interesting to see how the franchise fits the other top foreign players into the playing XI.
SunRisers Hyderabad Predicted Playing XI: Travis Head/Jaydev Unadkat (Impact Players), Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Kamindu Mendis/Adam Zampa, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Aniket Verma, Zeeshan Ansari, Pat Cummins (Captain), Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel
Gujarat Titans Predicted Playing XI: Shubman Gill (Captain), Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (wk), Sherfane Rutherford/Prasidh Krishna (Impact Players), Glenn Phillips/Gerald Coetzee, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Arshad Khan/Ishant Sharma, Rashid Khan, Mohammed Siraj, R Sai Kishore
