Ruben Trumplemann and David Wiese were the star with the ball for Namibia
After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Namibia’s Ruben Trumplemann decimated Oman’s top order, claiming the wickets of their top three batters within the powerplay. Zeeshan Maqsood, Khalid Kail, and Ayaan Khan managed to score 22, 34, and 15 runs respectively, but Oman struggled to post a competitive total, ultimately being bowled out for 109 runs. Trumplemann ended the game with a bowling figure of 4/21 while Wiese recorded a bowling spell of 3/28.

In response, Oman’s batters, Zeeshan Maqsood and Aqib Ilyas, were restricted by Wiese’s tight bowling, managing only 10 runs in the Super Over. Consequently, Namibia secured a comprehensive win in their first game.
