England’s T20 World Cup title defence has become uncertain initially as they initially lost to Australia after their first game against Scotland ended with no result. However, Namibia can still cause an upset whereas the weather could also play a key role, as a washout in Antigua or St Lucia could pose a threat to England as well. Moreover, Australia can now knock England out by losing to Scotland, which seems impossible considering the potential repercussions as well.

Jos Buttler remains optimistic of winning against Namibia

Meanwhile, England captain Jos Buttler recently opened up on Hazlewood’s comments regarding knocking England out and he stated that there’s nothing he can do about such remarks as well.

“Been around long enough to know that people make comments. We know what’s going on in the dressing room. We have another huge match to come. We can only control what we do, all focus is on that,” Buttler said in the post-match presentation ceremony.
