After all the hype Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) gained during the mega auction was almost gone when they started to lose points match after match. The ongoing IPL 2025 has reached its halfway mark; teams pushed on their paddles, in hope to cross the group stage and enter into the playoffs. 

Teams like Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have high chances to qualify for the next stage. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings' IPL 2025 dreams almost came to an end. Remaining teams have the chance to do last-minute wonders and confirm a flight to the playoffs.

Despite an unconvincing performance on the field, Sunrisers Hyderabad left with some homework on pen and paper to move to the next phase of the tournament. The IPL 2024 finalist has enough gunpowder in their arsenal for an explosive performance, but they are yet to prove it.

Team Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently out for a mini vacation 

Cricket experts criticized the Hyderabad batters mindset and tactics. The team is currently lying in 8th spot with 6 points after 9 games, with 5 games left. If they are able to win the remaining 5 matches, they can achieve more than 10 points, in total 16 points; 16 points is the predicted cut-off score, so SRH has hope.

Their upcoming match is scheduled to be held on Friday, May 2, against Gujarat Titans, a must-win game for the Pat Cummins-led side. Before this match, team SRH left India to spend a small vacation in the Maldives. There, cricketers received a grand reception; the video is on the internet now.
