Tilak Varma is proficient at playing cricket! Tilak Varma is only 22, and he's so good that he can still do everything in those short T20 International matches. People enjoy seeing him play, and he has even achieved some important milestones set by famous Indian cricket players that everyone talks about. Tilak Varma is great at batting and always hits the ball every time without missing. It's great how he's now a major part of cricket history!

The Record-Breaking Streak  

On January 25, 2025, there was Varma, and he was a very good cricket player! In a close game in Chennai, where they were playing against England, he was incredible and stayed in the whole time. India needed 166 runs to win, and Varma hit the ball over and over. He got a total of 72 runs from 55 balls, which is very many!And India won, but by just two points. The game was almost over, so everyone was very nervous. The whole event was incredibly thrilling! Before that day, Varma didn't get out in three other matches too he made 107, 120, and 19 runs in those games, really showing he is very good. When you look at how many runs he makes all the time, which is called an average, he's got 58.91 runs.

That's a really big number! It means Varma hits runs just like the best cricket players who have ever played, and the people watching were staring with open mouths because he played very well.

Tilak is amazing at cricket, both in India and in other countries too. When he played for Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he struck the ball many times and scored 151 runs without getting out, and he only needed 67 balls to do it, which is very fast! He was playing against Meghalaya. Because he did that, he's the first man in India to make more than 150 runs in a game that's very, very short, called T20.

In addition, it was the third time in a row he scored a hundred runs in a T20 game that's great, and now he is well-known for doing that in cricket where we live.

Breaking Kohli’s Record  

Tilak Varma obtained more runs than Virat Kohli did in four T20I games in a streak. Virat Kohli got 258 runs in the 2014-2015 season. But now Tilak Varma has made 318 runs and is continuing! That means he is very good at playing, even when it's tough. Varma beat Kohli's record!
