The rise of Vaibhav Suryavanshi is nothing less than a fairytale story. From a humble Bihar family to the cash-rich franchise league, the 14-year-old boy has set an example for all aspirants of the game. This could not be possible without the support from his parents and family. Suryavanshi's mind-blowing century against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 has started a series of discussions among cricket fans. The batter himself showed gratitude to his father and mother. Now, Vaibhav's parents faced the camera after his son's heroic innings.
Sanjiv Suryavanshi, father of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has thanked the entire Rajasthan Royals team and management. He clearly said the match-winning century came because of RR management; they trained their child so well over the past few months that he had to deliver. According to Sanjiv, after the Gujarat Titans vs. Rajasthan Royals match, all family members, all of Bihar, and all the cricket-loving fans of India are behind Vaibhav. Not only the RR management, but Sanjiv also did not forget to congratulate his son with encouraging words. The father acknowledged how Vaibhav has worked hard to achieve this stage. The 14-year-old batter's mother was also there with his husband in front of the camera, silently, eyes full of emotions (tears).
"Today, in IPL, Vaibhav has scored 100 off just 25 balls for Rajasthan Royals to win. And we’re extremely happy about his success. Along with us, the locality, district, and the state are happy," Poora Bihar aur desh uski shaandar batting ke liye khushiya mana raha hai. (The entire Bihar and the nation are celebrating his exceptional batting.). We want to thank the management and the team of Rajasthan Royals from the bottom of our hearts. For the last 3-4 months, RR was preparing Vaibhav quite well. We thank Head Coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathoure. We also thank Zubin Bharucha, Sairaj Bahutule, and Romi Bhinder. Everyone guided my son and made his batting even better," the proud father of the budding talent said.

Sanjiv said that Vaibhav had been working really hard and that his performance was a result of that dedication. He also expressed gratitude to Rakesh Kumar Tiwari of the Bihar Cricket Association for allowing Vaibhav to represent the state at such a young age, adding that Vaibhav had justified the decision with a performance like that.
"Vaibhav was also working really hard. His performance is a result of that hard work. We also want to earnestly thank Rakesh Kumar Tiwari of BCA (Bihar Cricket Association) for allowing Vaibhav to represent the state at such an early age. Vaibhav justified it with a performance like this," Sanjeev Suryavanshi said.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi shared his gratitude towards his parents after the match, stating that his mother only managed two hours of sleep, staying up late and waking up early. He mentioned how his father had put aside all his work to focus on his nourishment and career. Vaibhav also acknowledged the support of his brother, who took care of the family, and expressed that his achievements were possible only because of his family's sacrifices, especially overcoming their financial struggles.
"My parents are doing so much for me; my mother went to sleep at 11 pm and woke up at 2, perhaps 2 hours of sleep at night. My father left all his jobs and pushed himself for my nourishment and my career. My brother is taking care of the family as much as possible, and the financial crisis is over there today, whatever I did, only because of my family," the dynamic left hand batter said.
