Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma were recently spotted attending a spiritual Kirtan by the renowned Krishna Das at Nesco, Mumbai, on Sunday, October 20. The couple, who often make public appearances together, took time out from their busy schedules to immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere, sitting in the front row among other devotees.

This break for Kohli came after India faced a tough defeat in the first Test of the ongoing series against New Zealand.

Kohli and Anushka at Krishna Das Kirtan

During the Kirtan, both Virat and Anushka were captured sitting peacefully, blending with the crowd. The event organizers shared pictures of the duo on social media, acknowledging their presence and participation in the spiritual gathering. The Instagram post by the organizers read, “Virat and Anushka joined us at Krishna Das Live in Mumbai today, seeking blessings and connecting with the serene atmosphere. Their presence added to the collective devotion, making the gathering even more special."

This isn’t the first time the couple has attended a Krishna Das Kirtan. Earlier this year, they were seen at a similar event in London in July 2024, demonstrating their shared connection to spirituality and devotion.

India prepare for second Test after defeat against New Zealand

Kohli’s appearance at the Kirtan followed India's disappointing loss to New Zealand in the first Test of the three-match series, held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The visitors outplayed India, securing an eight-wicket victory. Kohli and the team will now be looking for redemption as they gear up for the second Test in Pune, starting on October 24.
