Virat Kohli Named in Delhi's Ranji Trophy Squad; Ayush Badoni to Lead, Rishabh Pant Absent

Virat Kohli, after more than 12 years, he's going to play a key game with Delhi's team again. The game is on January 30, and it's really special because Virat hasn't played in the Ranji Trophy since 2010. That will last for a very long time! Everyone who loves cricket is incredibly happy to see him play. They even feel as they did a long time ago, waiting to watch him hit runs. People are saying he might help the Delhi team do better because they need to win. Today, Delhi's team is a little bit back they're in sixth place in their group, and they only won one game out of six. 

Virat had some trouble hitting well in his last important games in Australia. But he was practicing with Sanjay Bangar to become better. Perhaps having fun at the house now will help him a lot. In addition, Ayush Badoni is the Captian of the team, and he will still be in charge for the game that's coming up. And there's no Rishabh Pant he's not participating today, which is very bad for the team. But having Virat back feels top rate for everyone.

They're excited to learn from him, and it might even help them win this game! And they're competing against the Railways team. That team won two games already, so they're doing okay. Did I mention to you the game's in Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi? That's where Virat is going to meet up with Delhi's team, two days before, to get ready and practice. Many of Virat's friends from the India cricket team played in different parts of the country after they returned from playing in Australia. Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja all played too. It shows that playing cricket back home is really important if you want to stay proficient at the game. The season is almost over and that can make things somewhat fraught however confusing it might grow.
