Indian cricket star player Virat Kohli has called out broadcasters for more interest in his personal life. He urged them to focus on cricket and player's performances instead of talking about things like their favorite food and his personal life things.
Kohli is always in the spotlight. His success on the field and strong personality have made him one of the most famous cricketers in the world. Since he is one of India’s most popular cricketers all over the world, Kohli is always in the news. But it's not just his cricket that gets attention his personal life is also discussed in detail on cricket shows and broadcasts.
"It is very difficult to explain to people how grounding it is to come back to your family every time you have something intense happening on the outside. I don’t think people have an understanding of what value it brings. I feel quite disappointed about that. People who have no control over what is going on are kind of brought into conversations and put out in the forefront. Maybe they need to be kept away."

Virat Kohli spoke about how sports are growing and how the foundation for future success is being built now. While speaking at the RCB Innovation Lab, he also made a big comment about broadcasters, saying they should focus more on cricket rather than personal details like what he ate the day before.
Virat Kohli said "A broadcast show needs to talk about the game & not what I ate yesterday for lunch or my favourite Chole-Bhature place in Delhi --- You can't have that in cricket matches - rather, you could talk about what an athlete is going through". [Sportstar - RCB] pic.twitter.com/XwzhsSZycK

"We have a vision, and the work to achieve it is already happening. Everyone has a role to play, it’s not just about building facilities or those who invest money. The fans also have a big part in this," Kohli said.
He stressed that sports shows should talk more about cricket. "A broadcast should be about the game, not about what I had for lunch or my favorite chole-bhature place in Delhi. Instead, they should discuss what an athlete is going through," he added. Kohli also talked about how important it is for players to spend time with their families after tough matches. He said it upsets him when people don’t understand this.
