Hardik and Rohit have long been close friends, having played together for Mumbai Indians for a number of years and winning numerous IPL titles together. In IPL 2024 though Hardik was back at MI as captain while Rohit relinquished the captaincy role. Even though there has been a change their respect and friendship for each other are not affected.
