A total of beyond 200 was looking within the range of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) when openers Aiden Markram (52) and Mitchell Marsh (45) were well settled on Ekana Cricket Ground, toying with Delhi Capitals (DC) bowlers for fun until Mukesh Kumar pulled out his IPL career-best performance.
Mukesh Kumar's 138 case pinpoint yorker fooled Marsh and scattered the bails as well as the LSG's entire batting unit; that was the moment when the first innings of LSG vs. DC took an unpredictable turn. Marsh was batting at 45 of 36 balls, and LSG was on 87 when the Indian pace bowler dared to speed in maximum impact.
Lucknow Super Giants went from 87 for 1 in 10 overs to 159/6 in 20 overs, depicting the brilliant bowling performance of the right-arm medium pacer. After departing Marsh, Mukesh nailed it again against Abdul Samad, Ayush Badoni, and LSG skipper Rishabh Pant.

Like Marsh, Badoni (36) also was exchanging with boundaries when Kumar made him dismantle. All over against LSG tonight (April 22), Mukesh Kumar rounded up his 4-over bowling spell for 4 wickets in exchange for 33 runs and an 8.33 economy rate.
What a perfect swinging yorker by Mukesh Kumar! UNPLAYABLE 🤯

The way Kumar knocked down Marsh's wicket was an example of true craftsmanship from a pace bowler. The delivery was slightly over 138 km/h, swinging in, and at the last combed the off stump. The Australian batter had nothing to do but to observe the wheel of events.
