As Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) players were engaged in their final preparations ahead of their IPL 2025 clash, a surprise visitor made a cheerful entry onto the field. This unexpected guest strolled into both MI and DC camps, leaving skippers Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel pleasantly surprised. The adorable moment quickly caught everyone’s attention, especially as veteran broadcaster Danny Morrison walked in with the special guest by his side.

MI to face undefeated DC in match no. 29

Despite occupying opposite ends of the IPL 2025 points table, the upcoming clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) promises to be a high-scoring thriller. DC, known for their explosive batting, have been scoring at nearly 10 runs per over and benefit from playing at the league’s fastest-scoring venue. Meanwhile, MI, currently at the bottom of the table, is still a dangerous side. Two of their four losses have come in tight contests, often just a couple of hits short of victory.

With captain Hardik Pandya in form, Jasprit Bumrah back in rhythm, and the middle order gaining momentum, MI are on the verge of turning things around. The last time these two met at the same venue, DC posted 257 runs, powered by Jake Fraser-McGurk's 84 off 27 balls, yet only scraped through with a 10-run win. MI will be desperate to land those two winning hits this time around. Currently, DC are in the top spot while MI are placed on the ninth spot in the IPL points table.
