A swift 50 by Virat Kohli, a vital win for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). During the RCB vs. Rajasthan Royals (RR) match in Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, there was a moment of tension between fans when Virat asked Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson to check his heartbeat.
Rajasthan Royals with an average batting performance, able to do only 173 in 20 overs, despite having 6 wickets in hand. The tough condition of the pitch and tight bowling by RCB bowlers put Royals batters in a thin position. Only Yashasvi Jaiswal was exceptional among the RR batting lineup. With ten 4s and a couple of over boundaries, he scored 75 in 47 balls. Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel were well set on the surface, but young guns looked uneasy, not confident enough to try something heroic.
173 in this pitch was a decent total. Later, when the pitch became drier, RCB batters took advantage. RCB opener Phil Salt was playing his natural game, and on the other end of the wicket, Virat Kohli was doing his anchor part. The departure of Salt after scoring 65 did not affect the projected match result because chase master Virat was on song. After the match, Kohli now has 100 fifties and nine centuries in his record book from 405 T20 matches.

The star batter's luck shined when Riyan Parag at mid-off put down an easy catch. Kohli stitched his innings with 24 singles, three doubles as well, four boundaries, and two 6s. He crafted his 100th T20 fifty with a step-out lofted shot over Wanindu Hasaranga.
Virat Kohli remains unbeaten for 62 off 45 balls, along with Devdutt Padikkal, who scored 40*. RCB won the match by 15 balls to spare.
