Before that match, some of the KKR star players were spotted at Yo Yo Honey Singh's Millionaire India Tour concert, which was held in Aquatica Ground, Kolkata, on Saturday. KKR stars like Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Vaibhav Arora, Manish Pandey, and Anukul Roy were spotted enjoying the vibe with the crowd. From the stage, Honey Singh spotted them and chanted those three infamous Kolkata Knight Riders words, "Korbo, Lorbo, Jitbo," that added more flavor to the program attended by the Knight cricketers.

It was a delight for the crowd as they had the fortune to meet with the famous players all in one place. It was also a memorable night for the cricketers to engage with the fans and spend some time—signing cards, taking selfies, and above all, having some fun.
Just two days after their dominant performance at Eden Gardens, KKR made headlines by crushing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with a commanding 80-run victory. The match featured explosive batting displays, with Angkrish Raghuvanshi scoring a brisk 50 off 32 balls, Venkatesh Iyer smashing 60 off just 29, Ajinkya Rahane contributing a steady 38 off 27, and Rinku Singh finishing strong with a fiery 32 off 17. Their efforts powered KKR to a total of 200.
The bowlers then sealed the win, with Vaibhav Arora taking 3 for 29 and Varun Chakravarthy bagging 3 for 22, as SRH collapsed for 120 in 16.4 overs. Now sitting fifth on the points table with four points from wins over SRH and Rajasthan Royals, KKR has bounced back confidently after their loss to Mumbai Indians. They’ll aim to maintain their momentum when they face Lucknow Super Giants on April 8 in match 21 of IPL 2025.
