But this podcast is only available in the Dhoni app only, During the conversation there were lots of questions which were answered by the former captain graciously, it seemed he was also excited to share his views and re-live the memories that become a passport to his diaries.
During the interaction, he was asked to pick any opening pair, one bowling spell, and an all-rounder that he would like to see playing together. His reply was he would keep all the categories with Indian players, where names of Shewag and Sachin for the opening, and Yuvi for the rounder category and mentioned when you watch them playing, you feel that no one can be better than them. But cricket is always changing it's not certain, It is very difficult to choose the best opener, but I have seen them play. See, when Yuvi was hitting 6 sixes, I did not have to see anyone else.

Players MS Dhoni would like to see play together:

Sehwag, Sachin and Ganguly (At their prime). Also talked about Yuvi's six sixes in the end.

The most secure cricketer ❤ @msdhoni pic.twitter.com/DEBKPBqTFK
— ` (@WorshipDhoni) April 6, 2025

Why should I choose one player? There have been players who have won many matches for the team. Yes, earlier. There was no coverage like this. Earlier also there were many such performances which I do not know because earlier all these could not be recorded. Today's generation doesn't know about this which he shared in the podcast.
Never Thought I Would Play For India
When asked about his cricketing earlier journey whether he thought that he would be winning a World Cup for India. "Dhoni said I never had any idea for playing for India, back then he used to live in Ranchi. Earlier it was Bihar now, it is Jharkhand. There was no history of players coming from there, When we were in school, we used to play with tennis balls and at that time I used to bowl, I used to play with my seniors where I was told to do wicketkeeping.
So playing cricket with people senior to me was very important for me. Playing with seniors helped me. I did nothing else apart from that, time is gracious to me and I have achieved all this and I am grateful for it.

<classification>U/A 13+</classification>
