Mumbai Indians (MI) are in search of a way to maintain their performance in the ongoing IPL 2025. The former IPL champion side started their season with a couple of defeats. MI has so far secured only one victory in 5 matches. They are preparing for their next encounter, which is scheduled for April 13 against Delhi Capitals (DC). Prior to the match, Rohit Sharma had visited an ad event in Delhi.

Like the Mumbai Indians, their former skipper Rohit Sharma is also struggling to maintain his form in the tournament. In 4 matches he managed to secure only 38 runs, including a 17-run knock, which was against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals is now riding high with confidence after clinching back-to-back four games. So far, they are unbeaten in the tournament and looking like a strong contender to hoist the trophy. They are in the second spot of the IPL 2025 points table with 8 points, just after Gujarat Titans, who have 8 points after 5 matches. DC will step into the field with the hope to win 5 consecutive matches and claim the top position of the ladder.

For MI, the task will be more difficult as they are going to take on in-form DC in an away match. Delhi Capitals will have the benefit of a home crowd. Mumbai Indians players are trying hard in their practice sessions to boost their confidence and regain the much-needed momentum that they are lacking the most.

In a video posted on social media, we can see the 5-time IPL-winning former captain present on stage, according to claims, which is an ad event. Rohit charmed the event with his natural positive vibe and comments, accompanied by loud cheer from the audience.
