Travis Head lit up the IPL 2025 clash between SunRisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals with a massive 105-meter six off Jofra Archer, thrilling fans and team owner Kavya Maran during a fiery powerplay.

Travis Head took no time at all in showing his presence after SunRisers Hyderabad hosted Rajasthan Royals in their IPL 2025 encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, March 23. The Aussie batsman went into the game with purpose and fire, sending SRH racing towards a blistering start to the powerplay and scoring one of the game's biggest highlights in a thunderous 105-meter six.

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag had elected to bowl first after winning the toss but with the intent of applying initial pressure on the home side. But Head other than that. He cleared his front leg in the fifth over, facing Jofra Archer, and slammed a length ball over deep mid-wicket. The ball went deep into the stands at an astonishing 105 meters.

The stadium erupted  as did SRH owner Kavya Maran, who could be spotted celebrating in the stands as the ball went into the night sky. It was that kind of a moment that alters the momentum of a match, and Head delivered it in fashion.

The six also exemplified Head's uncluttered hitting as well as the prevailing atmosphere SRH imposed on the pitch. They maximized the powerplay, and both openers applied pressure on the Royals attack right from the start.

It was a declaration shot bold, forceful, and straight from the top drawer  and one that set the tone for what looks to be a high-voltage season for SunRisers Hyderabad.
