Stokes, who took over as England’s test captain in April, has struggled with injuries lately and furthermore enjoyed some time off from the game and kept going year to zero in on his psychological prosperity.

“I just feel like there is too much cricket rammed in for people to play all three formats now. It is a lot harder than it used to be, I look back to when I used to do all three and it didn’t feel like it was as jam-packed and all that.”

The overseeing International Cricket Council needs to stage one worldwide event consistently and the expansion of franchise based associations have simply added to the players’ responsibility.
