Angkrish Raghuvanshi is a young and promising Indian cricketer. He was born on June 5, 2004, in Delhi but shifted to Mumbai to train and enhance his cricketing abilities. He is a right-handed batsman and also a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He came into the limelight for his impressive performances in junior cricket and has now established himself in professional leagues.
Angkrish gained widespread recognition for the first time in the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was India's top scorer in the tournament, with 278 runs in six matches. His contribution enabled India to win the championship and demonstrated that he was capable of performing at higher levels. During the 2023-24 season, he debuted in domestic cricket for Mumbai. He played in List A and T20 matches, demonstrating his pressure-handling capability. His regular performances led to his inclusion in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Angkrish was purchased by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 20 lakh before the season for the 2024 IPL. He gave a great beginning by scoring 54 runs in only 27 deliveries in his inaugural innings against the Delhi Capitals. His attack-first batting style and capacity for developing partnerships had KKR hopefuls excited.KKR chose to keep him on for the 2025 season of IPL, and his contract was raised to INR 30 lakh. Angkrish has been playing steadily in the current IPL 2025 season.

Angkrish is a top-order batter for Kolkata Knight Riders. His primary job is to give fast starts and steady the innings if needed.
