The Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) is all set to host the Women’s T20I Quadrangular Series 2025, starting on Saturday, March 8. The final will be played on Sunday, March 18. Four teams will take part in the tournament – Uganda Women, Hong Kong Women, Namibia Women, and Nepal Women. Indu Barma will captain the Nepal team, while Sune Wittmann will lead Namibia.
Each team will play six matches in the league stage, as they will face every other team twice. The top two teams will reach the final, while the other two will play in the third-place match. Both the final and the third-place match will be held on the same day.
Uganda Women have good experience in this format, having played 89 T20Is, they’ve won 55 and lost 34. Nepal Women are the most experienced team in the tournament and will be seen as strong favorites. Namibia Women have played 85 T20Is, winning 52, losing 32, and one match ending with no result. Hong Kong Women have played 80 matches, with 45 wins, 33 losses, and two ties.
