In the 9th match of WPL 2024, RCB Women aim for their inaugural triumph against Mumbai Indians Women. Scheduled for Saturday, March 2, the showdown unfolds at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, RCB Women’s home ground.

Both RCB Women, under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana, and MI Women, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, stand as formidable contenders in WPL 2024, having each contested three matches thus far. As the Mumbai Indians Women win the toss and elect to field, anticipation heightens for an electrifying clash.

Women’s Premier League: Who said what at the toss?

Smiriti Mandhana | RCB Women stand-in captain: It was a good wicket when we played in the last game and I think it’s going to play well. For us it’s about doing the right and simple things, it’s about playing good cricket and do the right things in all departments. If we do right things, we would be able to defeat anyone.

Nat Sciver-Brunt | MI Women stand-in captain: We are gonna have a bowl first, typically in this competition so far, it has been easier to chase. No, it’s the same team as the other night.
