Jaiswal The Game Changer

Jaiswal also hit the most sixes in a bilateral Test series, surpassing Rohit Sharma’s previous record. Since his debut in July 2023, no batter has hit more Test sixes than Jaiswal.

He joined an elite group of Indian batters by scoring two double centuries in a series, a feat achieved previously only by Vinoo Mankad and Virat Kohli. Additionally, he matched Wasim Akram’s record for the most sixes in a Test innings.

At just 21 years old, Jaiswal became the third-youngest player to score two Test double centuries, trailing behind only Vinod Kambli and Don Bradman. Not stopping there, Jaiswal also broke Sourav Ganguly’s record for the most runs by an Indian left-hander in a Test series at home, accumulating an impressive 545 runs.

His innings notched up vital runs for the team, setting a formidable total and paving the way for a dominant performance against the English side. As cricket enthusiasts celebrate this remarkable milestone, Jaiswal’s feat serves as a testament to his potential as a future stalwart of Indian cricket.
