Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh, the father of legendary Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, once again came with a verbal attack on the former Indian captain MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh were among the greatest middle-order batters in Indian cricket history. Both were also known as good friends. 

Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India achieved many successes, including winning the ICC World T20 2007, ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy 2013. Yuvraj Singh played important roles in the success of ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. All-rounder Yuvraj was the Player of the Tournament at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. 

During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final against Sri Lanka, Dhoni-Yuvraj's partnership finished the game successfully, where Dhoni ended the game with his iconic over boundary.

After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer. Later, the all-rounder beat the cancer and returned to the game in style. 

Yuvraj served for India at the ICC World T20 2012, ICC World T20 2014, and ICC World T20 2016. Dhoni was the captain in all those T20 World Cups, including India’s runners-up finish at the World T20 2014. However, Yuvraj missed out on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 under the captaincy of Dhoni. 

Later, Yuvraj played in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 under the leadership of Virat Kohli. However, the all-rounder couldn’t earn a spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, where Kohli led the Indian team.  

I won't forgive MS Dhoni: Yograj Singh

In June 2019, Yuvraj announced his retirement from international cricket. Although cancer survivor Yuvraj played many international matches and tournaments under the leadership of Dhoni, Yograj has always claimed that Dhoni destroyed Yuvraj’s cricket career.

Yograj said on the Zee Switch YouTube channel, "I won't forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life - first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids."

Yograj further added that Yuvraj deserved Bharat Ratna. 

The former Indian pacer added, "That man (MS Dhoni) has destroyed the life of my son, who could have played four to five years more. I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that there won't be another Yuvraj Singh. India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing with cancer and winning the World Cup for the country." 

Recently, it was announced that a biopic will be made on Yuvraj Singh. According to the media reports, the biopic title will be “Six Sixes”. During the ICC World T20 2007. Yuvraj hit six sixes in an over of the English pacer Stuart Broad in a crucial Super 8 match. 

Yuvraj was the first in T20I history and second in international cricket history to smash six sixes in an over.
