Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have officially divorced due to compatibility issues. The Bandra Family Court finalized their separation on March 20, 2025.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma Seal Divorce

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma, have gone through with their divorce. Their divorce was granted by the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai on 20th March 2025, bringing an end to their four-year-old marriage.


Reasons for Divorce
The couple had been living apart for almost two and a half years prior to making their final decision. According to reports, they were constantly experiencing compatibility problems, which prompted them to separate. Chahal and Verma both agreed that their differences made it hard to sustain their relationship.

Court Proceedings and Alimony Settlement
Throughout the court proceedings, the couple were subjected to a compulsory 45-minute counseling. Subsequently, the judge sanctioned their divorce. The initial gossip was that the alimony payout was approximately ₹60 crore. However, the family of Dhanashree Verma dispelled the rumour by confirming that the true payout was ₹4.75 crore. Half of this money has already been paid by Yuzvendra Chah
